All are welcome at St. John's United Methodist Church. We are a community where people help, care for, and support one another. To this end, we offer a variety of opportunities for you to connect with God, self, and others. There are three distinctive worship experiences on Sunday mornings (and one on Saturday evening). Each is designed to be both dynamic and inspirational.
Prayer, scripture, and affirmation of our historical and personal experience of faith are the focus of worship here at St. John's. Music, drama, and other media are used throughout the year to heighten and enhance our congregation's experience of God.

Abide Worship Experience
(Sundays 9:30 AM)
"Abide @ St. John's" offers a casual, contemporary worship environment that features our stellar Praise Band, and free coffee from Thousand Hills Coffee! We meet in the Family Life Center on Sundays at 9:30 AM. Communion is served weekly and is open to all. The Children's Sunday School program (for children in grades K-5) also takes place during this service, as well as during the 11:00 AM Traditional Worship Service.

Traditional Worship Service (Sundays 8:15 AM),
featuring the Youth Sonshine Choir
Communion is served every Sunday at this Worship Service, which is held in our sanctuary. The Youth Worship Team and Youth Sonshine Choir play a prominent role in this worship experience.
Tradiational Worship Service (Sundays 11:00 AM),
featuring our Adult Chancel Choir
This Worship Service offers a relevant worship experience in our sanctuary each Sunday, featuring the music of the Chancel Choir and pipe organ. The Children's Sunday School program (for children in grades K-5) takes place during this service, in addition to the one held during the 9:30 AM Abide Worship Service. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month and is open to all.
Jazz Vespers (2nd Saturday of Every Month, at 5:00 PM)
Jazz Vespers is a unique, meditative worship service that features some of New Mexico's best professional jazz musicians. Free child care is available for those who need it. For more information, please visit the Jazz Vespers website.
Other Sunday Offerings
Every Sunday, the SonShine Cafe has breakfast items for sale and is a great place to meet other people and socialize.
The First Sunday Lunch is a special meal for the whole congregation that is served on the first Sunday of every month in the Family Life Center from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM. The cost for the meal is $8, and includes at least two sides, salad, bread, and dessert. In addition, children under the age of 18 eat for free with a paying guardian!
On the fourth Sunday of every month, the SonShine Cafe offers a special Omelet Bar from 7:45 AM to 11:00 AM. Here, you can get a 2-or-3-egg, made-to-order omelet (with over a dozen choice meats, cheeses, vegetables, and herbs to add in) for only $3.75.
