WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE CLASSES

Spring and Fall Wednesday Night Live classes range from parenting, to Bible study, to health concerns, to social justice issues!

TUESDAY WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Periodic studies that run 4-11 sessions. Classes are held at 9:30 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 6:30 pm. There is a small charge for materials. Childcare is provided with reservations. Contact Donna Bruce at 883-1373 or visit sjumcwomen.org.

SATURDAY CLASSES FOR MEN & WOMEN

MEN'S SMALL GROUPS

Several ongoing men' small groups (eight or so members each) that meet at various times and places to share our lives and encourage each other on our spiritual journeys. Existing groups are open to new members and new groups form from time to time. Contact Jack Nuzum at 265-5241.

PEOPLE OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 6:00 pm in the Hospitality Center. Typically read contemporary books on a variety of subjects, share leadership, and have wide-ranging discussions. Contact Carolyn Good at 897-4338.

DAILY EMAIL BIBLE STUDY

THE WALK TO EMMAUS

The walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. Contact Mike and Linn Furnish at 884-6626 for more information.

THE LADIES' BOOK CLUB

Women reading and discussing books. Meets the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in room 231. Contact Ann Look at 768-7013 or visit sjumcwomen.org to get a list of the current books.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

Long and short term study classes (more information about current classes at the Hospitality  Center). Several ongoing Sunday school classes are available as well. New members and visitors are always welcome!

8:15 am class:

  • Christian Classics - room 245
    Reading Christian writings from older works to contemporary. A basic knowledge of the Bible is helpful. Contact Jack Nuzum at 265-5241. 

9:30 am classes:

  • New Spirit - room 151

  • Family Spirit - room 257

  • Friendship Class - room 243

  • Bereans Class

  • Orient/Reorient Class
