Congregational Care Coordinator
I am thrilled to be serving in this role at St John's. My wife Anna & I moved to Albuquerque in 2018 from NorthEast Ohio. We have three adult children that are married with families of their own and we enjoy our four grandchildren who live in Washington, Phoenix & Chicago.
Anna is the Benefits Offficer at the Conference Office and when I am not at my full time job, we often hike the trails of the Sandia and have been known to take an unplanned road trip exploring New Mexico. We haven't declared yet that we miss Ohio icy, snowy, cold winters.
Anna & I were worship leaders leading the Praise Bands at our previous church(es) in Ohio. One summer we agreed to hold weekly church services at a Camp ground and did so before we knew what time the service started. Let's just say it was uplifting enjoying the presence of God on the chilly dew covered hill side of that camp ground.
In addition to being a Certified Lay Minister (CLM), I have pastoral ministry experience as a licensed local Pastor and I am one of the Stephen Minister Leaders here at St Johns. In this role I will support and work with our Care Teams and help stregthen them as we care for one another.
