Our 11:00a.m. service is a traditional Methodist service led by Reverend Dr. Randall Partin, along with Music Director Matt Greer and our Artist-in-Residence, organist/pianist Jim Ahrend. The Chancel Choir leads our music during worship on most Sundays, but the traditional worship service may also include choirs of all ages, bells, organ, piano, and special music performances. There is no pre-registration required for in-person services, though mask wearing is encouraged for the protection of our vulnerable church members.
Our goal is to offer passionate, uplifting, energetic, and spirit-filled worship that recharges your spiritual batteries, and prepares you for the week ahead. We hope that our church will be a place that gives you friends to love, a community to be a part of, and a greater cause to be dedicated to.

Music At St. John's
At St. John's United Methodist Church of Albuquerque, we have a thriving music program that offers everything from classical music programs to concert series and live jazz services. You can also join St. John’s Music Director Matthew Greer for a live Zoom session each week where he talks about the music ministry, explores hymns and choral music, and chats with the occasional guest about music they love.
