The focus of the third 75th Anniversary Celebration Lunch, July 6, 2025, will be God With Us through Music, Youth and Missions. There certainly will be a variety of music! There will also be opportunities to learn about some of the mission projects of St. John’s in Albuquerque and beyond. Finally, we will explore the importance of youth programs (that includes children) over the years.

 

How can you participate?

 

First, we hope you will attend the lunch on Sunday, July 6, 11:45 – 1:45. Plus, if you were involved in the Music, Missions, or Youth Programs at St. John’s in any way, at any time, would you please send a one page, 16-font article that addresses “How the (music, youth, missions) program helped me grow as a person and as a Christian” or “The impact the (music, youth, missions) program has had on my life”. If you have a couple of pictures of you engaging in any of these programs, please include them. Please email the send these to the church office. If you have been involved in more than one of these programs, please include them all or send more than one article. They will be displayed at the luncheon and compiled somehow with all the stories we receive during this anniversary year. Please send all articles by June 15, 2025.

 

If you have family or friends that were involved in these programs at St. John’s, who are no longer here, please forward this invitation to them. We would love to include them as well. There is a separate group planning a special Youth Reunion, with activities for current and former youth, so be on the lookout for information about that.

 

We are eager to see the many ways our Music, Youth and Missions programs have impacted the lives of individuals at St. John’s over the years!
