Holy Week Services
Join us for Holy Week and Easter as we journey through the powerful story of Christ’s love, sacrifice, and resurrection. From the joy of Palm Sunday to the reflection of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and finally to the celebration of Easter Sunday, these services offer moments of worship, prayer, and renewal. All are welcome—come and experience the hope and promise of Easter with us!
Palm Sunday Service
March 29 at 11:00AM in the Sanctuary
Celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with palms and praise.
Maundy Thursday Service
April 2 at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary
A reflective service of Communion, featuring music from the Taizé tradition.
Good Friday Service
April 3 at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary
A powerful narration of the Passion story, with music by the St. John’s Chancel Choir.
Easter Sunday
Join us as at St. John's to celebrate Easter! We will hold three service on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection, knowing that Jesus is alive. All of our services will be offered in-person, and will be available to watch over livestream for those who cannot attend, or prefer to worship from home. Traditional Easter Worship
Our 8:15a.m. and 11:00a.m. Easter services are traditional United Methodist services held in our Sanctuary. These services are led by Rev. Josh Kouri and will feature choir, organ, and the UNM Faculty Enchantment Brass Quintet.
Contemporary Easter Worship
Our 9:30a.m. "Abide" Easter service is a contemporary United Methodist service held in the Family Life Center. This service is led by Rev. Josh Kouri, featuring music from the Abide Praise Band, who will play ‘resurrection themes’, using both secular and sacred music to celebrate a living Christ.

Community Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 28 from 10:00AM - Noon
Don't miss our annual Community Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28 at 10:30am. Kids are invited to head out into the garden and playground areas for some Easter fun. Come and enjoy crafts, games, photos with the Easter Bunny, a bouncy house, food and more. Bring your baskets and get ready for a morning of fun!
