Holy Week Services
Join us for Holy Week and Easter as we journey through the powerful story of Christ’s love, sacrifice, and resurrection. From the joy of Palm Sunday to the reflection of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, and finally to the celebration of Easter Sunday, these services offer moments of worship, prayer, and renewal. All are welcome—come and experience the hope and promise of Easter with us!

Good Friday Service
April 18 from 4:00 - 6:00PM in the Family Life Center
A come-and-go experience of the stations of the cross with artistic depictions of each station created by our youth in a worshipful atmosphere with music. Includes a walk-along devotional guide written by retired pastors and leaders at St. John's. This is intended to be an individual journey unique to each person who expereinces it, and will not be livestreamed.
Easter Sunday
Join us as at St. John's to celebrate Easter! We will hold three service on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection, knowing that Jesus is alive. All of our services will be offered in-person, and will be available to watch over livestream for those who cannot attend, or prefer to worship from home. Traditional Easter Worship
Our 8:15a.m. and 11:00a.m. Easter services are traditional United Methodist services held in our Sanctuary. These services are led by Rev. Josh Kouri and will feature choir, organ, and the UNM Faculty Enchantment Brass Quintet.
Contemporary Easter Worship
Our 9:30a.m. "Abide" Easter service is a contemporary United Methodist service held in the Family Life Center. This service is led by Rev. Josh Kouri, featuring music from the Abide Praise Band, who will play ‘resurrection themes’, using both secular and sacred music to celebrate a living Christ.

Easter Egg Hunt
Easter Morning at 10:30AM
In between our worship services on Easter Sunday, we'll be holding our annual Egg Hunt! Kids are invited to gather at the doors to head out into the garden and playground areas for some Easter fun. Children 4 and under will hunt on the upper playground, while kids 5 - 5th grade will search the lower playground. Bring your baskets and get ready for a morning of fun!
Holy Saturday Vigil
April 19 at 9:00PM
This is an overnight Holy Saturday Vigil for the youth of our congregation. Join us as we create prayer stations journeying to the cross with Jesus, Saturday April 19 at 9:00pm. The youth will begin their night watch as we pray hourly until Easter morning, stay through the night and then wake up early Easter morning and attend the 8:15 a.m. service.
